Pisces New Moon- Your Spiritual SideThe new moon occurs on February 24th, 2009 at 8:35 pm (EST) at 6 degrees 35 minutes of Pisces. The constellation of Pisces is two fish, bound together by a chord. In mythology they symbolize Venus and her son Eros who turned themselves into fish in order to escape the wrath of Typhon. In keeping with this story and the influence of Neptune Pisces is associated with illusion, disguise, and the desire to escape.
The basic message of this month is to "let go and let God." Let yourself dissolve into your spiritual source and you'll wind up feeling more faith, finding more forgiveness, and fostering more compassion for yourself and others.

We may reap a better harvest if we plant in the spring as opposed to the summer.
