Bernie graduated from the University of Florida in 1971 in Gainesville, Florida with a degree in Political Science. Bernie began studying astrology in 1973 after encountering a book, The Astrology of Personality by a Frenchman, Dane Rudyhar. He came upon this book in a bookstore while residing in Atlanta (he says the book found him!).
